The Scoop

The Hell’s Kitchen House is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, perfectly situated between the Theater District and the Hudson River piers, and with convenient access to the rest of the city. Restaurant Row is just down the block, while the neighborhood itself is known for its plethora of LGBTQ+ bars and businesses, as well as its strong theater community.

The Hell’s Kitchen House is our Ecoliving House, meaning it was built with sustainability in mind. The green roof features one of the few solar canopies in Manhattan, motion sensor lights have been installed strategically throughout the building, mirror arrays redirect sunlight to the lower floors, and low-flow showerheads and toilets are in every bathroom. But the heart of The Ecoliving House is our community — and every member is encouraged to adopt sustainable practices outlined at move-in, like participating in our composting and gardening program on the roof.

The building itself is a classic Manhattan walk-up that has been completely renovated and furnished to support modern lifestyles, with updated appliances and plenty of open space so you’ll never feel crowded.

Location

The Hell’s Kitchen House is well-situated in an exciting neighborhood with plenty of dining and entertainment options, while nearby subway stations give you convenient access to the rest of the city. The closest station is a 5-minute walk away at the 50th Street A/C/E station. You can also walk just 12 minutes to the Times Square-42nd St station, which serves the 1/2/3, 7, and N/Q/R/W lines, as well as the A/C/E via the connected Port Authority Station, and the S shuttle to Grand Central.

Stayed at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY house for 2 months this summer. Great experience - this house has killer amenities [rooftop, free laundry, movie theater and downstairs work area that no one ever uses and is great for remote work].
