This brand new building is home to spacious apartments with modern amenities.

The house is a brand new building with updated appliances, hardwood floors, large windows and in-unit washer/dryers. The Lafayette House has fifteen units altogether, a spacious shared lounge and a fitness center. All of the common areas are massive in comparison to your average New York City apartment.

Location

The closest subway station is Bedford-Nostrand, served by the G train and just a 5-minute walk away. Multiple bus lines also serve the neighborhood. You can reach the Lower East Side in 30 minutes and Midtown Manhattan in 45 minutes, or easily explore Downtown Brooklyn in 15 minutes.

The neighborhood features a small park, trendy coffee shops and eclectic cuisine ranging from Cuban to Japanese.

All of the bedrooms in the Lafayette House are private and feature full-sized beds, blackout shades and closets. Bedding is available for an additional fee.

The kitchens/dining room

In these apartments, the kitchen and dining room are the first rooms you enter. These spaces are used for cooking up dinner and relaxing in the evening over a glass of wine.

  • Amenities include electric stoves, stainless-steel fridges, microwaves, large sinks, coffee makers, plenty of cabinets, cookware, tableware, cutting boards and anything else you would need in a kitchen.
  • Security: 24/7 security in all common areas.

The (Co)Living Room

The common living room and workspace is located in the basement of the Lafayette House. This is where members can go to relax, work and hang out! The space is equipped with everything you need, from huge couches to sprawling tables that can fit up to eight people simultaneously.

The bathrooms

Every unit in the Lafayette House is equipped with enough shared bathrooms so you can be sure you’ll never have to wait. Some bedrooms have private bathrooms, depending on availability and your price range.

  • Also included: toilet paper, hand soap and small garbage bags.

Laundry room

Each apartment also has an in-unit washer and dryer, so you can do all your laundry in the comfort of your own home.


Fitness Area

Our Lafayette House even has a fitness area! This is equipped with the basics you need to work out, giving you the opportunity to skip a gym membership.

  • Amenities: Soft matting, yoga mats, yoga balls and a cycling machine.
  • Security: 24/7 security in common areas.

Backyard

Yes, we even have a back yard! This cozy backyard area has plenty of chairs so can work, read, or relax outside in the warmer months and catch some sun.
