As you enjoy the newly built Bedford House in the heart of Bed-Stuy, you’ll meet people from every corner of the world, building a community from the comfort of your home while being within easy reach of all New York City has to offer. This historic, lively neighborhood features the popular Herbert Von King park, locally owned cafes and shops like Black Swan and the Mixtape Shop, and diverse cuisine ranging from Caribbean to Japanese.

The main draw: The spacious, furnished backyard, a luxury in New York and the perfect way to spend long summer evenings with your housemates.

Perfect for you if: You want to contribute to a community where neighbors support local businesses and get to know each other over spontaneous stoop hangs.

Our suggestion: Get to know Herbert Von King Park, a bustling green space right at the end of the block. Step outside the Bedford House and within just a couple of minutes, you’ll be able to settle in to read a book, people watch or just relax for a minute away from the craziness of the city.

Stayed at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY house for 2 months this summer. Great experience - this house has killer amenities [rooftop, free laundry, movie theater and downstairs work area that no one ever uses and is great for remote work].
