This home has three units and spacious common area accessible through the basement.

The house has been recently renovated space throughout with updated appliances, modern furnishings, exposed brick and hardwood floors. The spaces are arranged around bright and inviting common areas, which are spacious in comparison to your average New York City apartment.

Location

The nearest subway station is a 3-minute walk from the Gates House, giving you easy access to both Williamsburg and Manhattan. Hop on the J at the Gates Avenue station and you can be on the Lower East Side in a mere 25 minutes. This conveniently located home allows you to enjoy the slower pace of Brooklyn while having easy access to all of New York City.

The neighborhood features a nearby grocery store, popular thrift stores and eclectic cuisine ranging from Pan-Latin eats to vegan dishes at Chez Alex.

The space

The house is a renovated building with updated appliances, hardwood floors, large windows and unique details like exposed brick and wood. The Gates House has three apartments altogether, each with three private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shared common area. All of the common areas are large in comparison to your average New York City apartment.

This space is move-in ready; all you have to do is show up.

The kitchens/dining room

In these apartments, the kitchen and dining room are the first rooms you enter. These spaces are used for cooking up dinner and relaxing in the evening over a glass of wine.

  • Amenities include electric stoves, stainless-steel fridges, microwaves, large sinks, coffee makers, plenty of cabinets, cookware, tableware, cutting boards and anything else you would need in a kitchen.
  • Also included: paper towels, dish soap, hand soap and garbage/recycling bags, all of which are routinely restocked.
  • Security: 24/7 security in common areas.
