The Cornelia House is located in the heart of Ridgewood, Queens, just a few blocks from the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick. The house is in a bustling part of the neighborhood, surrounded by restaurants and bars and only a few blocks from Myrtle Avenue, a major shop-lined thoroughfare through Brooklyn and Queens.

The house is true to Ridgewood’s historic style, built in the Romanesque Revival style with a brick facade and elegant brick arches over each window. The interior of this walk-up has been renovated to support modern lifestyles while maintaining gorgeous elements like exposed brick walls.

Location

The Cornelia House is in the homey neighborhood of Ridgewood, bordering Bushwick, Brooklyn. Ridgewood is known for its relaxed pace, historic streets and as a center of Polish food and culture in New York.

The nearest subway station is the Forest Av stop on the M line, just a 5-minute walk away. You can also walk 10 minutes to the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop, which serves the M and L lines. You can reach the Lower East Side and the East Village of Manhattan in 20 minutes. If you’re working in Midtown, Bryant Park is only 35 minutes away, and you can reach the Financial District in 40 minutes. Additionally, the nearest Citi Bike dock is just a 5-minute walk away and the neighborhood has excellent bus access.

The (Co)Living Room

Within each unit, the living room includes a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating. The lower floor has been turned into a spacious, tastefully designed common lounge accessible to the entire house, with a separate restroom and laundry room. The lounge has plenty of seating and a large table for co-working, along with a flatscreen TV.

The kitchens/dining room

The kitchens in these units have been entirely updated, with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, and are fully stocked with dishware, cooking tools and appliances.

Every apartment has one to two bathrooms for three to four bedrooms, so you’ll never have to wait.

The house’s private backyard is accessible through the downstairs common lounge, and has been completely renovated to offer the perfect place to relax or hang out with friends and roommates when the weather is nice. The backyard has a large, open hardwood patio lined with plenty of seating.
