Get off at the Bedford Avenue L stop and walk down the avenue between the Apple Store and McCarren Park and you’ll find a line of boutiques that will equal what you think of as ‘typical’ Williamsburg. Picturesque jewelry stores like Norbu Bijoux and The Stone Flower will make the perfect centerpiece for your shots.

Obvious, but still important. Walk over the Williamsburg Bridge to get that iconic shot.
Adjacent to the Williamsburg Bridge, North Brooklyn Farms is a tranquil pop-up park with fairy lights, seating and a colorful greenhouse. The perfect foreground for your Brooklyn Bridge shot.

The rooftop at The Williamsburg Hotel has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline (which you can enjoy while sipping on a cocktail and topping up your tan).
Located in the East River State Park, local food market Smorgaburg pops up every weekend with more than 100 vendors specializing in a variety of cuisines. Grab a snap of your food with the East River in the background for the perfect post.
Stop by the Bagel Store at 754 Metropolitan Ave to try “the bagel that broke the internet”. The bagels here are multi-colored, trippy and extremely Instagrammable.

Nearby the Brooklyn bridge, this man-made park has everything a photographer could ask for: River-side views of the Manhattan skyline and the statue of liberty, perfectly fake grass, a dog park and even bocce ball for people-watching. Along with neighboring Grand Ferry Park, this is the place for your Instagram pictures.
This colorful mural on N 8th St. and Bedford Ave makes a great Instagram addition, as well as sending positive vibes out to your feed.

If you’re a beer fan, make sure you get the Brooklyn Brewery in your photo gallery. Both the outside and inside of this building are covered with artistic murals and logos just waiting to be captured.
McCarren Park is a Williamsburg gem, particularly for photographers. We love the Dog Run for cute pooch pics.
This record store is photogenic from any angle. Snap the poster-covered walls or the lines and lines of records that fill this warehouse-style space.

East River State Park is the perfect base for pictures of the Manhattan skyline. It’s known for its exceptional sunsets, so hang around just that little bit longer.
A mix between a vintage store and a nursery, this beautiful shop is lined with clothing and plants from top to bottom and has been named the best vintage store in the world by W Magazine. All this makes it one of the best places to snap an Instagram picture.

This non-profit radio station hosts live DJ sets, tucked away on a lot off of Nassau Avenue. The events are low key and have been described as hanging out in a friend’s backyard, making it the perfect place to get that classic Williamsburg picture.
Photographers can add stunning new images to their portfolios. But keep in mind that your home can also be attractive, not just buildings and graffiti. You can rent apartments in Williamsburg with the aid of Outpost Club in addition to shooting on camera.
